If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Once there, you can notify Dr. Suz so she can update the emergency doctor on your child’s health history.
-
Direct Primary Care is a rapidly growing healthcare model in which the patients have improved access to their physician and receive more personalized, comprehensive care for a monthly fee. The pricing in DPC is transparent. Fees are paid up-front and DPC doctors typically do not bill insurance.
-
My goal is to remove as many barriers to high-quality care as possible. I myself have encountered surprise bills, expensive co-pays, and struggled to find care “in my network.” By not billing insurance, we can remove these and other barriers, have more transparent pricing, and provide families with improved access to their doctor.

While not required for membership, we strongly recommend families to have health insurance coverage. Your membership is not a substitute for health insurance. Insurance helps to relieve the cost of hospital bills, laboratory testing, imaging, and medications. You may choose to switch to a different insurance plan (lower premiums/higher deductible) or a health share plan. We recommend a PPO plan to help with specialist referrals.
-
Absolutely, they do. Same-day or next-day appointments, low-to-no wait time in the office, and all around improved access to your doctor. Life is hectic and unpredictable. Having this kind of convenient care is great for your child’s regular check ups, but even more so when the unexpected illness or injury occurs.
-
Yes. Dr. Suz will provide in-home care during your infants first two months of life. If you have circumstances that make coming into the office with older children difficult, home visits can be arranged for $150/visit.
-
Yes! Having more direct access to your doctor can prevent you from having to make that unwanted trip to urgent care or the emergency room when your doctor otherwise would be unable to see your child for a few days, or weeks, or more! An ER bill itself could likely pay for an annual membership. Our contracting with local labs and radiology groups allows for transparent pricing so you know what you will be paying when you walk in the door.
-
You will be notified if Dr. Suz will be away during normal office hours or unavailable for other reasons. During these times some issues may be addressed via tele-health. Dr. Suz will also do her best to have another doctor “covering” for her to address your urgent needs. If necessary, you will be directed to urgent care or the pediatric emergency room.
